But you have to remember that Katniss isn’t a kid. I mean, age wise, she’s a kid, and legally I suppose she’s a kid, but mentally, she’s an adult. She’s had to go through so much more than the average sixteen year old has. She’s had to raise her sister alone while taking care of a mentally sick mother. She’s had to deal...

Anonymous asked: I love how I picture Jen one way, but when I picture movie Katniss I completely forget that it's Jen playing her. That is a sign of a really good actress.

Anonymous asked: I hate when you think of a really good url and you check to see if it's available. It's not, so you decide to check the blog out, and they haven't posted in 4 years. -__-
I hate when people hoard 100 URLs that they have...

Anonymous asked: This has the be the wittiest fandom ever! THG gifs are the perfect therapy for dealing with ALL THE BREAD SCENE EMOTIONS.
I’ve taken 247475 off my blog for two reasons:
I didn’t like the drama it started.
I would sound like a hypocrite right now if I kept it.
I saw a post saying that people should put 31234q14185 or something like that on their blog to signify fans who were on Tumblr before the film was released, and I think that’s utter crap.
I had 247475 on my blog to remember the fun...
Despite my now irrational semi-fear of them, I still think white roses are really beautiful.

Anonymous asked: Katniss and peter are supposed to be kids though!!!
The Hunger Games is the biggest oxymoron.
It’s heartbreaking but empowering. It makes you feel good but it tears you up inside. It sends off such a good message while also criticizing the world. It makes you think but also makes you forget normal functions. It’s amazing but it’s terrible all the same.
I JUST WANT TO GROW WINGS, FLY AROUND THE WORLD, AND GIVE EVERYONE IN THIS ENTIRE FANDOM A HUG MADE OF SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS
I’M GLAD I’M GOING TO SEE THIS FILM WITH MY FRIENDS
OTHERWISE
I WILL DIE WITHOUT ANYONE AROUND
ALONE
AND THAT WOULD JUST SUCK.
BUT WHY WOULD THEY PLAY THE BREAD SCENE
WITH SAFE AND SOUND IN THE BACKGROUND
WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO DO?
KILL ME BEFORE THE FILM’S EVEN OPEN?

I ship Dayo and Jackie so hard.
Regarding Katniss as a Barbie:
It’s a marketing strategy. Lionsgate is literally putting everything they have into this franchise, trying to expand is as far as they can while making as much as they can. If you look at it that way, it’s a fine idea to make a Barbie Katniss.
But I don’t look at it that way.
Katniss is a girl that people should look up to. She puts everything on the line to save her family...

I feel like March 23 is Annie and all of us are Finnick and the release date just kinda crept up on us.
